Answer. If the requirement is to block only for a particular sale order, then execute MB1B, key in movement type 412 with special stock indicator E and proceed so that the available unrestricted stock would be reserved for that sale order.
On the other hand, if the requirement is for all sale orders, then go to OVZ9, select 02/A and tick the box for "Include sales reqmts".
